R66 turbine course....
Mark Tyler was the first 'student' to visit Heliairs new engineering training
facility.
He successfully completed a Part 147 approved course of instruction on
the Rolls Royce 300 engine which is fitted to the new Robinson R66 helicopter.
Mark is already planning to undergo the R66 airframe course to enable
him to gain a type rating.
Engineering Manager Tony Stinson says.....
"If the R66 is anywhere near as successful as the R44 then we want
to get ahead of the game in offering fully trained engineering support."
Tony will be undergoing the same courses when next available.
